The population of San Diego is highly diverse, with one-fourth of the population being Hispanic and more than one-eighth being Asian. About half the residents are under age 35, making it one of the youngest cities in the country.

There are a variety of different ways to explore the city, including taking walking tours and bus tours. Many of these tours are free and will take you to some great spots that you might not otherwise visit.

You can also check out the Go City attraction passes to see a variety of different activities in one pass, and they will usually include things like kayaking, snorkeling, and whale watching.

If you want to enjoy a little bit of history, you can head to the Old Town area of San Diego. This is where Spanish explorers settled in the 16th century and it’s now home to several historical landmarks and museums.

In addition to the old-world feel of the area, you can find plenty of quirky bars that scream “San Diego” at every turn. This is a fun place to spend an evening with friends or family, and it’s easy to see why it’s such a popular spot for locals.

It’s also a popular location for weddings and other destination celebrations as well. There are plenty of places to get married or hold a ceremony, and the city is well-known for its gorgeous backdrops.

Aside from the beach, you can also do a lot of hiking in San Diego. The most popular hiking trails are the ones that take you through the mountains and up to the cliffs where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the ocean.

Another option is to go to the zoo and spend time watching the animals. At the San Diego Zoo, you can see hundreds of animals from around the world. There’s also the Birch Aquarium where you can see a variety of different types of marine life.

The zoo also offers various exhibits and events for the whole family. You can go on a behind-the-scenes tour and even meet some of the animals up close!

You can even learn about the history of the zoo, and how it became so well-known. Some of the most interesting displays are the shark tanks, the kelp forest, and the two-story sea tunnels that show off the natural habitat of these ocean creatures.

If you’re looking for a more sophisticated dining experience, there are several places that offer great seafood dishes and authentic Mexican cuisine. These are often found in the neighborhoods of La Jolla and North County.

The food scene in San Diego is constantly evolving. While for a long time it was all about the tacos and burritos, now the city has more restaurants with diverse dishes than ever before. There are restaurants serving everything from authentic Italian and Mexican food to fresh seafood. You can even find some craft breweries and wineries here.
